Who we are

Tech Immigrate (“we”) runs techimmigrate.com. For any privacy question, email [email protected].

What we collect

• When you buy: your email address, the guide you bought, the amount, and Stripe’s order reference. Stripe collects your payment details under its own privacy policy; we never see your full card number.
• When you log in: your email address and a one-time login link we send you. A login cookie keeps you signed in to My Downloads for up to 30 days.
• When you email us: whatever you choose to send.

Why we use it

To give you access to the guides you bought, send your login links and receipts, provide updates to guides you own, answer your questions and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Our lawful bases are performing our contract with you and legal obligation.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the shop: Stripe (payments), our website host, and our email delivery provider. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie, tid_session, to keep you logged in to My Downloads. It is signed so it can’t be forged, and it expires after 30 days or when you log out.

How long we keep it

We keep purchase records for as long as you have access to your guides and for as long as tax law requires (usually 6 years). Unused login links expire after 30 minutes, or 72 hours for the one in your welcome email.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us to do this. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
